Microsoft Provides Office 365

Microsoft Office 365

Following an application to Microsoft in August 2019, Microsoft very kindly donated Microsoft Office 365 to the Trust in September 2019. Office 365 included free licences for Business Premium (worth £2174 a year) and Business Basic (worth £16,416 a year) services.

Being a small charitable organisation and its members spread across the United Kingdom, the Trust is unable to justify establishing office based facilities and a local information technology infrastructure. Office 365 brings the Trust into the 21st century as a virtual non-profit business, providing members, volunteers, and beneficiaries with a professional platform for email, documentation storage, video conferencing and collaboration. The platform also provides cost efficiencies, better data security and stronger business resilience.
